HERBAL
At Herbal, I lead the development of the brand identity, social media marketing, and outreach communication for a wellness-focused startup that reimagines nightlife through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Rooted in the principles of balance and restoration, Herbal offers a new kind of nightlife—one that encourages guests to unwind, heal, and reconnect after a demanding 9-to-5 day. From visual identity to tone of voice, I oversee the creative direction that brings our mission to life: redefining what it means to go out and feel good.

As aspiring designers and engineers with a strong interest in the future of emerging technologies, we've identified a lack of spaces that encourage meaningful sharing and connection.

This event was conceived to bridge that gap by connecting student designers, freelance creatives, engineers, and academia, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration with industry leaders. With the rapid rise of new technologies and passionate innovators, we aim to unite diverse talents to shape the evolving landscape of the immersive digital realm.

As President, I organized events aligned with the organization’s goals, managed sponsor relations, maintained social media engagement, and designed marketing materials. The organization bridges the Chinese community and those interested in Chinese culture, supporting international students abroad. This role strengthened my leadership and teamwork skills in delivering impactful cultural events.

As a designer for the Brown China Summit, a flagship event hosted by the Brown China Summit Club, I contribute to shaping the visual identity of an organization dedicated to fostering meaningful cross-cultural dialogue and exploring China’s global impact. The club serves as a platform for intellectual exchange, hosting discussions, film screenings, and speaker events that bring together experts, students, and professionals. My design work reflects this mission, from creating professional branding for speaker talks and film events like The Wandering Earth to developing themes such as "Silkroads and Cyberpaths." Through thoughtful visual storytelling, I ensure that the club's values of cultural exchange and academic rigor are represented in every detail, from corporate-level polish to creative innovation.
